Fujisei Horiuchi Co., Ltd. was originally founded in 1919 as a confectionery wholesaler in Aomori, Japan. In 2012, after nearly a century of service, Fujisei Horiuchi decided to use its expertise of regional specialties to develop its own original products—baked confectioneries, jellies, and more—all of which use only the best local ingredients.

Aomori Prefecture grows more apples than anywhere else in Japan, and they feature prominently in many of our products, which are popular in Japan and abroad as gifts and souvenirs. We also use chestnuts, which have long been consumed in Japan.
